THE INCEPTION
PHILIP DADA JR (PDJ) was founded in the year 2016 by Philip Dada Jr in Coventry United Kingdom. While Philip was undergoing his LLB Law degree, he discovered that his native kaftans were desired by a lot of people, at university. Some people would ask to buy his outfit on the spot!
At the same time, he always dreamt of making suits but never saw the amalgamation of a brand whose gateway products will be suits and kaftans. Upon relocating to Nigeria in 2018 to get his bar qualification, he started designing new cuts and pieces of kaftans.
The brand officially launched on the 8th of January 2019 as PDJ STYLING and later in 2020 the brand was simply called PDJ . With a growing customer base, in April 2022 the first store was opened in Abuja Nigeria, called the Home of Charisma.
We are still executing this mission. Join us as we build the world's next most desirable and excellent brand.
